Flying single pilot IFR is challenging enough. We need tools that provide us the information we need without unnecessary distraction.

Like most pilots, I tried paper and a number of software solutions over the years. I kept asking why I could not pull up procedures more quickly. It seemed there were a lot of solutions, but none were as simple or as fast as they could be. And none met all of my requirements.

I fly a turbo prop  so my arrival at an airport typically involves an arrival procedure (STAR), an instrument procedure, and an airport diagram. Before I fly the arrival, I like to be able to study all of them, just flipping back and forth as I desire. I like to have my alternate airport procedures available too should I need them - and of course without losing my planned destination procedures.  Oh, and I want everything else OUT OF THE WAY! In other words, a de-cluttered workspace.

I also travel a lot and find myself away from home sometimes during a cycle changeover, so I can’t be there to receive my cycle updates. Internet to the rescue. Most of us are updating our panel GPS from the USB port of our computers. And I expect to do the same with Terminal Procedures. But they are huge! Over 3.5 Gigabytes. So I wanted to make them smaller and download them reliably and fast.

Well, necessity is the mother of invention. With its tabbed interface and multiple ways to look up airports and procedures, Readyprocs represents the fastest way to view procedures. It downloads procedures three times as fast as many other applications, and in advance of the next cycle, so you are always ready... with Readyprocs. (yeah, that’s corny.) But do try it out, a full working version, no obligation. I think you will be pleased.

And if at any time you are not satisfied with Readyprocs, just say so and we will refund the prorata amount of any subscription fee.
